Israel supports the USA against Cuba

The UN General Assembly has overwhelmingly adopted a new resolution calling on the US to end its embargo on Cuba, which was imposed by Washington 50 years ago.

At the first time for 20 years, the resolution proposed by Cuba has got a record number of votes in its support. Of course, the United States and their project «Israel» had voted against the resolution. Besides, Israel was unsatisfied with the UNESCO decision to allow Muslims to pray in Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez hoped that this step «will give some meaning to the progress achieved over the past few months in relations between the two countries (Cuba and the USA) ».

However, in return, the President Obama declared: «If Cuba thinks this exercise will move things forward in the direction that both governments have indicated they wish, it is mistaken».
