Crisis of the collective West

17.05.2023

I greet all the participants of this event. I would like to thank the organizers of what I consider to be such a significant event, which is taking place at a time when, in my opinion, for us, representatives of scientific experts from business community of different countries, a really turning point has come in terms of the sustainable development of our countries, states and nations.

As the course of events of the previous speakers has already grown, indeed, the ultra-liberal, dollar-centric world, which was formed by the collective, so-called Western, today has revealed a total deepest, systemic, complex crisis.

Under these conditions, we see that in fact, as I believe, having entered the stage of agony, this world affects the connection of the world war with all the ensuing consequences. And of course, the process of changing the political leader, the process of transition to a multipolar world, it will not be painless. We already see this in the framework of the processes that are taking place on the territory of Ukraine.

I believe that it is extremely important for us, representatives of the expert scientific community, to realize the full responsibility for what is happening today both in our countries and around the world. Therefore, I believe that it is necessary to soberly, adequately, pragmatically evaluate the implementation of processes and challenges. And, of course, a very important role, since the course of speeches is already increasing, today the information-cognitive mechanism of influencing public opinion is assigned. This, in my opinion, is one of the most vulnerable places in countries in terms of influencing public opinion.

We must reveal that the institutions of the collective West in this aspect have a huge advantage, and this leads to very negative consequences in terms of the formation of public opinion, in terms of the formation of a generally relevant assessment. Therefore, I think that this initiative comes from the organizers of the event, it should be of a subsequent, sustainable nature.

We need to form an appropriate platform to take measures to harmonize the relationship between the minds and moods of citizens in our countries, because from the point of view of cognitive, informational impact, in these conditions we should properly count on a balance in unequal conditions. This is one very important aspect of the issue.

And the second point, which I really want to mention, because I am an economist, a scientist, a doctor of economic sciences, and it is simply obvious to me that all the ideas that we put forward are present, all our theses, rest against problems in economics.

Here is the dollar-centric world that we are talking about and which, as I think, is coming to its logical conclusion, it must be admitted that within the framework of that world that still does not pay attention to what is agonizing, but it exists and gives it strong opportunities for those countries that are close to the printing press of the US dollar, I consider it a country of the European Union, because we all see that this is practically happening as a whole.

Those countries, those printing decision centers that make decisions close to the machines of dollars and euros, are of great importance for financial instruments. If we really want to move to a multipolar world format, we need to ensure that there is an economic sovereign choice of alternative points of view, alternative decision centers.

Therefore, I believe that both from an economic point of view and around information and cognitive activity, we have a lot to do. I would like the current platform, which I understand, to nominate the organizers of this event, it would not be of a one-time nature.

I believe that it is time for us to make plans about permanent stability, which is the basis for our community, for discussing opinions, for putting forward our alternative theses to this hegemon, and distribution to the public opinion of our countries, considering opinions, which, as I think, are relevant and important.

Once again, I thank the organizers for giving me the chance to speak, I hope that such events will continue to be held for a long time in a sustainable format and bring our theses and opinions to the public opinion of our countries. Thank you.
