US takes the blame for ISIS

US President Barack Obama has stated that the errors tied to the invasion of Iraq were the reason for the birth of the Islamic State. 

From Al Qaeda to ISIS

Paradoxically, this is the US’ second systematic error. The terrorist organization Al Qaeda was also created with the direct involvement of the CIA, when the US helped radical Islamists from different countries to go to Pakistan to pass training in special camps and continue to fight against the legitimate government of Afghanistan in the 1980’s.

Crisis of security thinking

This statement shows the serious crisis of analysis and decision-making in the sphere of security. As the United States continues to provide assistance to various militants in Syria, this recognition sounds like a double standard. The country is going to repeat its own mistakes in different variations.
