According to Libyan pro-government forces the city of Sirte has been completely liberated from ISIS.

Rida Issa, a spokesman of Libyan militaries, said: «Our forces have total control of Sirte. Our forces saw Daesh (IS) totally collapse».

The battle of Sirte lasted more than six months. Terrorists used suicide bombers, IEDs and sniper fires, but they have not managed to fight off a decisive attack.
