The battle of myths

History is not a series of events. It is not the fragments found in the tombs of pharaohs. It is not tales of battles or rulers. History is the great revelations, the grandiose states, the poetic dreams that embrace peoples, in which all archaeological findings, all eyewitness accounts, all profiles minted on gold coins dissolve. There remains one mysterious, immoderate, dimly delineated, but real thing, whose name is myth.

Myth is the powerful force of history. Here kingdoms rise and fall, war chariots and columns of tanks move, hymns are composed and denials are written. Myth is the reality that makes history. The struggle of myths, their mortal battle, the victory of one over the other is history.

The 20th century is the womb that gave birth to several grandiose myths. The Nazi myth of the super-nation called to command other nations, of the chosen nation endowed with divine character, which all other nations of the world, lacking divine perfection, obey. This fascist myth, synthesized in America's secret eugenic laboratories, took hold of the minds of Germans, gave birth to the mighty Third Reich, conquered the peoples of Europe. And it was destroyed in a monstrous collision with the Soviet red myth, which promised all peoples a heavenly existence.

The red myth mesmerized with its fabulousness, which promised man immortality not in posthumous existence, but in life. This red myth transformed man into a grand artifice, committed to building the Kingdom of God on Earth. And in this work mankind discovered such exorbitant possibilities and powers that two-thirds of the globe turned red. And the red myth of communism withered and disembodied the black seed of fascism.

The liberal myth, clad in the financial and technocratic power of America, which detonated the atomic bomb while preaching freedom and humanity, won the battle with the red myth of communism. Like a giant jellyfish, it sucked up the Soviet Union and dissolved it in its acids and poisons.

The liberal myth, on the ruins of fascism and communism, seeks to rule the world to this day, putting liberal values into the heads of cruise missiles and using them as fuel for aircraft carrier formations.

The fourth myth, born in the bloody shackles of the 20th century, is the holocaust myth. The German Nazis, drugged by the poisons of universal superiority, imagining themselves gardeners of humanity, thought of extirpating nations by exterminating the infesting nations, among which they included Gypsies, Slavs and Jews. The Jews received terrible trauma and formed the Holocaust myth, which is comparable to the books of the Old Testament in its power and tragic depth and is the sacred scripture of the Jews. It continues the biblical books about the exodus of the Jews from Egypt, the finding of the Promised Land, the building of the Temple and the dispersion.

The Holocaust myth was the basis for the formation of Israel and is the security credential of this state, more reliable than Merkava tanks and the Iron Dome system. The "Holocaust" myth was the main content of the Jewish world consciousness of the 20th-21th centuries, contributed to the creation and rise of the State of Israel, to Jewish dominance in many areas of human activity. Netanyahu, the deranged one with the big ears, declared that the goal of the Jewish state is to destroy the Palestinian people, including pregnant women and nursing babies. This declaration transformed the Jews from a nation of martyrs to a nation of torturers. The end of the "Holocaust" myth is witnessed by the hand of a slain infant rising from the ruins of the tragic Gaza killed by Israel.

The myths that raged in the 20th century have crumbled. But their dust hovers in the air. This dust tends to compact into clots. These clots in the 21st century seek each other out, continue to hate each other, continue to fight. But their victories and defeats belong to the past. The world is present at the birth of new great myths.

One of these is the myth of China. China proclaims a new man of the world who feeds on the powerful impulse of the Chinese people. This new man, who claims to be a model of nobility, justice, bodily and spiritual beauty, is to be an example to all the peoples of the world. Will he not stumble over the stones left by the ruins of the old myths? Will the Chinese continue humanity's spiritual evolution toward divine justice? The values that lead to heaven on earth too often relegate humanity to hell.
