The revolt of the envious
Who lives in the banlieues
The uprising in the French banlieues is a rebellion against the established order, against the apparent welfare society, an act of force against the world that the rioters desire and to which they aspire. The young French people of African descent who have set fire to France these days are not revolutionary idealists who want to impose an alternative vision of society. They are not Marxist Leninists, they are not anarchists, they do not have political ideals to assert through revolutionary violence, they do not have ideas to fight for. The progressive narrative paints them as starving, exploited underclassmen, victims of the racism of white Frenchmen, second-class citizens condemned to a life of hardship by the injustice of society. Other hasty or deliberately misleading analyses portray them as Islamic fundamentalists, jihadists seeking martyrdom for the faith, soldiers of the Little Holy War. Islam is a revealed Abrahamic religion, a doctrine of submission to God, with rules, the Pillars of Islam that must be respected and there is no such thing as the unabridged version as in spaghetti.
There is observance of the revelation of the prophets, in the Shari'a, the laws that govern the lives of Muslims, it is “...the last religion with a sword...” according to Nietzsche's definition.
The corruption of consumption
The young people who are putting French cities to the sword do not follow the strict rules of Islam, they do not eat halal food, they do not dress in traditional Arab jellaba, but in hoodies and rapper shoes. They have been French for two generations, speak French and think like Westerners, their collective imagination is that of bourgeois consumerism: luxury, wealth, good life without effort and sacrifice.
No political ideas or social passion, they want to become rappers, influencers and other demented professions of the time of nihilism and decadence. Their highest aspiration is not martyrdom for Islam, but to take the place of white Frenchmen in posh neighborhoods, driven by envy not faith.
The insane immigrationist policy has confined them to the degraded urban suburbs, isolating them from the rich who theoretically love them and in fact loathe them.
Promises betrayed
Progressives responsible for migrant invasion for cheap arms are attacked by those who feel betrayed. Promises of integration and sharing have been broken despite large economic investments, the new French do not know what to do with training courses, they want the place and welfare of those who cheated them. The rampaging thugs of the banlieues did not set fire to iconic cathedrals of Catholicism in the name of Islam, but looted luxury stores.
They demonstrate a desire for revenge, for the assertion of basic needs, for the conquest of territory.
The Islamic expansion that began in the 7th century was driven by a strong vision, the conversion of the infidels, the creation of a world that would respond to the will to power of the followers of Muhammad.
The new insurgents did not assert the superiority of their religion; they expressed only a desire to replace those they saw as exploiters and enemies.
Soldiers of capitalism
The society of profit and compulsive consumption has eradicated religious and ideological drives, replacing them with the irrepressible need for possession. No nostalgia for origins and abandoned homelands, for the new French are an integral part of terminal capitalism.
Like the other youth of a soulless age, they crave only easy wealth, fortune without sacrifice, fame without merit. Deprived of the archetypes of their lineage they are slaves of low materiality like many contemporary youths. Petty bourgeois excluded from the banquet of the rich, gazing at the lives of the more fortunate with their mouths watering like the window of a pastry shop. Their angry resentment is driven by the envy that has always animated false revolutionaries, not the desire for social justice, but for substitution in privilege.
Young people of African descent want the cities of the French and even the Italians, as seen in Peschiera del Garda last summer, where thugs militarily occupied the town. The violence in Cologne and Milan denounces the predatory attitude toward European girls seen as spoils of war. Juridically French, Italians, Belgians and Germans, without hearing it are forcibly taking what they believe to be theirs and what used to be Europeans'. Old peoples with no drive toward the future, dying ethnic groups who do not beget children and have nothing left to pass on.
The psychopathology of the denied dream
Those of import, on the other hand, are charged with vital energy, prolific and aggressive, full of anger because they feel excluded. They suffer from dissociative disorders because of the lack of integration between the sphere of consciousness, then thought with their identity and with the memory of their ancestors. The symptoms are confused identity, neither Arab nor French, and difficulties in relating to other citizens whom they feel are enemies.
The pathogenesis of the disorder is in the trauma of refusing to be part of the nation that tore them away from their origins to marginalize them in ghettos. Savage immigration is a crime against the invaded natives, but also against the uprooted stolen from their homeland with the mirage of illusory prosperity.
The reality is far different from the dream: marginalization, poverty, exploitation, the underpaid slave jobs. The few who manage to integrate themselves into the System lose their barricade-like ambitions and become the object of the hatred and anger of all the others left outside to watch.
The nurturing society produced by the domination of big capital has no respect for anyone, exploits the last as cannon fodder, sparing not even those who support and nurture it, sacrificing their lives to work and success.
