Benjamin Netanyahu: ‘Israel rejects the anti-Israel UN resolution’

On December 23 rd the United Nations Security Council adopted the resolution that condemned Israeli settlement construction.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Office declared: “Israel rejects the anti-Israel resolution at the United Nations”. The UN vote was also called as “shameful”.

Moreover, it was said in a statement that the Security Council was not doing anything to stop the slaughter of half a million people in Syria. Instead of this they [the UN Security Council] turned their focus on Israel.

Benjamin Netanyahu’s Office also said: “The Obama administration not only failed to protect Israel against the UN's obsession with Israel, it collaborated with the UN behind Israel's back”.
