A today’s 10-hour ceasefire in Aleppo has come to an end. Russia announced unilaterally the humanitarian pause, after consultation with the Syrian leadership. This time was given also for the militants, who wanted to get away from the city, using the two corridors in Aleppo.

Rebels were reported to continue a counter-offensive trying breaking the siege and two of Russian soldiers were wounded during this ceasefire.

Russia and Syria forces are waiting for an order to resume attacks on the eastern side of the city.
