Mario Draghi’s Speech at the European Parliament

On February 15th, the European Parliament will hold a meeting with the head of European Central Bank, Mario Draghi. The President of the European Central Bank will present a report on their monetary policy to the European Parliament’s Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs.

Mario Draghi and Goldman Sachs: Collaboration History

Since 2002 to 2005, Mario Draghi was the vice chairman and the CEO of Goldman Sachs International.

Goldman Sachs is one of the largest commercial banks in the world, and was founded in 1869. Formally, the bank engaged in trading securities, investment management and other financial services, and is a US Federal Reserve System shareholder. It is a global organization with more than 30,000 employees working in different countries of the world.

However, this is only a formal description. In fact, Goldman Sachs is the World Financial Group that is the master of the fate in the political life of the American Empire. Defending the global financial interests of capital, tough fiscal policy of subordination and other countries colonization, the organization works on the creation of an international, devoid of difference and “fruitful complexity of cultures” world. The bank controls most of the political decisions of the United States of America.

The presence of sovereign states in Europe for Goldman Sachs is not profitable. Global financial capital is needed to fragment Europe, which could be used as a source of revenue and profit from its tragedies.

Goldman Sachs is gaining profit from the collapse of all US' elements and even the world economy. It is a universal lender, but at the same time and a prosecutor, the judge and even the executioner.

EU Economy Crisis: Migrants and the Geneva Convention

Due to the refugees, the EU economy is closed due to the crisis. According to the estimation of the Institute of World Economy, in 2015, more than 10 billion euros was allocated to migrants.

Considering each country, for example, Germany, they will spend in 2016 between 25 to 55 billion euros for refugees (depending on the number of refugees arriving in Germany). If we look at the period from 2016 to 2022, the German refugees will gain 385 billion euros.

Benefit payments to refugees are based on the 1951 Geneva Refugee Convention. However, each country has the right to set the amount of social assistance independently. In Germany, the social allowance is 400 euros (for comparison, Eastern Europe – only 140 euros). In addition, the refugees have free access to public transport, are given full medical insurance, and paid utilities and accommodation. The amount of spending per refugee is about 800 euros
