The US-attack on Syria delighted only Israel, the PKK and ISIS

The Chairman of the Patriotic Party (Turkey) (Vatan Partisi), Dr. Doğu Perinçek evaluated in a press conference on April the 7th the attack of the US against the Syrian Arab Republic.

Perinçek summarized the results of the attack in 10 points:

1. The attack provided critical support for the PKK, ISIS and all other terror groups operating in Syria at a critical moment.

2. The US has realized an important advance in its attempt to isolate Turkey’s Erdoğan Government.

3. The government of Prime minister Binali Yıldırım has been set aside. A parallel government inside the presidential palace has taken over power.

4. The attack constituted a huge blow against the Turkish Armed Forces’ regional strategy to concentrate on the PKK.

5. On the beginning of March, the decision had been taken in Ankara that the Syrian and the Turkish governments start direct communication. This decision was attacked.

6. The US attack constitutes an attack on the Astana process that had started with the Declaration of Moscow by Iran, Russia and Turkey.

7. By the US attack, Israel’s position was strengthened.

8. Trump delivered to the US deep state a pledge not to overthrow him.

9. As the Erdoğan government has in Syria taken the side of the PKK, ISIS and all other reactionary and separatist terror groups, its “yes” votes in the constitutional referendum on the 16th of April have started going down.

10. The winners of the chemical weapons use in Syria are the US and Israel.

Perinçek warned the Turkish government not fall to into the US trap by following their politics in Syria and declared that the only solution is an immediate meeting of the Turkish and Syrian governments.
