Thailand holds referendum on a new Constitution

Thailand decides its political future. This will the first mass referendum in the country ruled by military junta for two years. His preliminary results will be announced tonight.
Before the subjects of the kingdom are put two questions: "Do you approve the draft constitution?" and "Does the upper house of parliament should participate in the selection of the Prime Minister, together with the lower house?". Agitation for any of the answers is officially banned.

After the military coup in 2014 the functions of government in Thailand the National Council for Peace and order led by General Prayut Chan-o-cha performs. The military suspended the old constitution and began to develop a new document. Today's referendum should be the first step towards the country's return to democracy and to strengthen the legitimacy of the current government.
