Putin presents new US Secretary of State with Order of Friendship

Donald Trump has officially announced Exxon-Mobil Corp's Rex Tillerson as his choice for secretary of state on Tuesday. Moreover, earlier President Vladimir Putin presented Tillerson with the Order of Friendship. 

Rex Tillerson is well-known for his international deal-making skills and is said to have good relations with a number of heads of state around the whole world, especially his ties with Russia.

Trump commented: “He knows many of the players, and he knows them well”.

Moreover, earlier Tillerson said, “I have a very close relationship” with Putin, having known the Russian leader for more than 15 years.
