New ISIS military leader: born in the USSR, trained by the US

The former commander of the Tajik special police forces (OMON) colonel Gulmurod Halimov, also known as al-Tajiks, became the new "minister of war"  of terrorist group "Islamic state" , succeeding the died Abu Omar al-Shishani Tarhan, known as Abu Umar al-Shishani. This was revealed to the Iranian news agency IRNA said by the source in the security services of the Iraqi province of Nineveh.
"Tajik Gulmurod Halimov elected chief military leader of the IG. It has not been announced officially, as the IG is afraid that he will become the goal of air strikes, "- said the source.

In Tajikistan colonel Halimov headed the special forces of Interior Ministry (OMON). A year before he escaped to ISIS, he received special education in the USA (2013-2014), including trainings in infamous Blackwater company.
