Hamburg: Lavrov meets with John Kerry

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has met with US Secretary of State John Kerry during the ministerial conference of the OSCE.  They are reported to have discussed various efforts to resolve the conflict and the possibility of introducing a ceasefire.

Before their talks, Sergey Lavrov stressed that the US continues to support the proposals, withdrawn before.

In addition, earlier the Russian Foreign Minister met with his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier, who insisted on the cessation of hostilities. The meeting between the Ministers was long, intense and serious.
