Jean-Marc Ayrault, Minister of Foreign Affairs told about setting up a fund with China for joint investment in overseas projects.

The Minister said: «Hinkley Point is a very good example of what we're going to do together, to win contracts in third markets and in all sectors». In this statement Jean-Marc Ayrault was referring to a Franco-Chinese project to build Britain's first nuclear power plant station, which was on the verge of cancellation because of participation of the Chinese capital in the strategically important industry.

Jean-Marc Ayrault added that this fund would be mostly focused on energy projects in Asia and Africa.
