Foreign Minister Lavrov calls Kiev's claims to limit use of Western arms a lie

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has described as lies statements by Western countries that weapons supplied to Kiev should not be used by the Ukrainian army against Russian territory.

He said this during a press conference with Burundi's Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Albert Chinguiro.

"The West's claim that the arms supplied should not be used against Russian territory is yet another lie," TASS quoted him as saying.

Lavrov also noted that the Russian Armed Forces have the means to respond to possible deliveries of Western aircraft to the Ukrainian army.
