The deterioration of relations between Turkey and Iraq

The mutual accusations began after the introduction of Turkish troops into Iraqi Kurdistan.

These actions have caused the indignation in Baghdad, after that the verbal squabble of politicians, scientists and journalists followed.

Firstly the Prime Minister of Iraq Haider Al-Abadi expressed outrage over the vote of Turkish parliamentary about increasing the Turkish military presence in Iraq. He asked the Turkish side to stop the intervention, adding that such risky venture could lead to a regional war.
