Aleppo evacuation continues
The first column of buses for the evacuation of civilian population has come to Aleppo. The evacuation was to begin yesterday, but it had to be postponed because of terrorists, who fired at eastern parts of the city.
In addition, according to President Vladimir Putin’s order, preparations for withdrawal of remaining terrorists have been started. They are going to be sent in Idlib, located in 40 kilometers from Aleppo. Most of the corridor for terrorists will go through the territories uncontrolled by the Syrian government. However, they had to leave the quarter even yesterday, but instead of it terrorists went on the offensive, which was repelled by Syrian armed forces. After this event, the Russian leader phoned his Turkish counterpart.
Vladimir Putin and Tayyip Erdogan are reported to have discussed the situation in Aleppo, as well as “they made emphasis on the importance of a buildup of joint efforts to improve the humanitarian situation and to give a start to a political process in Syria in practical terms”.
