Aleppo: peaceful life is coming soon
93 persent of Aleppo was released. Civilians are still having the possibility to leave the territories remaining under terrorists’ control. According to Russian Defence Ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov more than 50,000 people did use new humanitarian corridors. More than 15 tons of humanitarian aid was sent to the needy areas.
In the statement of the Russian center for reconciliation it was said: “Russian soldiers of the International Mine Action Centre continue demining the released districts in the eastern part of Aleppo. During the day, they had cleared land with a total area of about 8 hectares. Furthermore 24 buildings were cleared from the explosive ordnance: 1 bakery, 2 schools, 2 mosques, 1 substation, as well as 4.5 km of roads”.
In addition, there are held some preparations for launching water and power supply system, which became possible after the release of the pumping station, Suleiman al-Halabi in the east of the city.
Moreover, the release is being held against the background of direct Western attacks on the Russian humanitarian operation. Yesterday the UN adopted the resolution demanding the termination of actions.
However, this document is not legally binding. Earlier the US lifted restrictions on arms deliveries to the so-called “moderate” terrorists.
