Capitalism

The falsification of world History

02.08.2024

All talk of the progress of capitalism is really only confirmed by the example of the 15-25% of the world's central population and its enclaves on the periphery. The 75-85% of the population is excluded from this progress, which is an immanent feature of the capitalist system as a zero-sum game: the progress of the minority is at the expense and expense of the majority. The universal (for all) progress of capitalism is therefore a myth.

1968 and 1989: The Two Fundamental Dates of Turbo-Capitalism

Capitalism dialectically overcomes the antagonistic demands of the proletariat (class struggle, spirit of splitting, partisan organizations, revolutionary passion); and it does so by anesthetizing its consciousness in a consumerist sense, but also by “economizing” the conflict (since the 1970s, the proletariat fights for higher wages and not for overcoming the mode of production, thus metabolizing the ideology of capital as an ineluctable horizon).

During the pandemic and politically tense year 2020 (which is now perceived almost as the last century), Alexander Dugin conversed with Dimitri Rode on Aurora Radio. Their text, now published as a book “Right-wing anti-capitalism. Paths of a Sovereign Thought”, was published in a different historical situation. It is even more interesting to reread and rethink these 22 conversations (the number, of course, is not accidental: its symbolism is well known to connoisseurs of Tradition). It would be more correct to call them philosophical dialogues: D.V. Rode (and in one of the conversations also A.V. Kazakov) do not act as passive interviewers, but as accomplices of Socratic maieutics, expressing their own opinions and contributing to the discovery of truth in a philosophical conversation.

In keeping with the theoretical framework outlined in my book, Minima mercatalia. Filosofia e capitalism [Small Business. Philosophy and capitalism], absolute-totalitarian capitalism or turbo-capitalism, as it has been implemented since the sixties of the “short century,” acts by annihilating every limit that can hinder or even slow down its logic of development and reproduction.

Our western civilization is undergoing major changes, but while the basic economic structure has never changed and is not changing, remaining capitalist albeit with some variations on the same theme, it is on the social and cultural front that we
