On November 29, 1947, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution on the partition of Palestine into an Arab and Jewish state (Israel). On May 14, 1948, the State of Israel was proclaimed in the former territory of Mandate Palestine. The concept of "woman" and woman as a person are widely debated these days. These controversies concern both the social role of women and the female philosophy. It is necessary to begin the work of rectifying the way women are perceived and of debunking some stereotypes about women in the Tradition and outside of it.
Eschatological Optimism, the posthumous philosophical testimony of Daria Platonova Dugina, explores and develops this ancient idea amidst the overwhelming kaleidoscope of the cave of the modern world. My report aims to combine three stages of Russian history: the Russian Empire, the Soviet Union, and modern Russia. There has been a lot of discussion about this over the last 9 months, and, in fact, over the last 20 years. Lances have been broken but no consensus has been reached. The Reds (the Communists were commonly called the Reds during the Soviet period) continue to hate everything that has to do with religion and the state. The Whites (those who supported the Tsar and Imperial Russia after the Revolution of 1917) continue to hate everything related to the Soviet Union and the people who lived there.
My talk today will be quite short, but at the same time exhaustive. The topic is "The concept of Moscow as the Third Rome." It is quite popular because everyone knows it from school. But even the representatives of the so-called patriotic wing, the conservative wing, usually do not take it seriously. In the meantime, it has received a number of confirmations from a wide variety of historical points of view.
