President of Kyrgyzstan, Almazbek Atambayev, arrives in China

Protocol

During the visit, President Almazbek Atambayev will meet with Chairman of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping. The heads of states will discuss topical issues in Kyrgyz-Chinese relations, further plans to expand cooperation on a wide range of bilateral cooperation, and exchange views on international and regional issues of mutual interest.

New Silk Road

A special topic will be the discussion of the transport route which will be part of the grand project of the Chinese New Silk Road. Since Kyrgyzstan is a member of the Eurasian Economic Union, and since the Russian and Chinese leaderships agreed before to pair the two projects, the intensification of work in this direction is to the benefit of all parties.
