Vladimir Putin: Russia knows who attacked the humanitarian aid convoy

Vladimir Putin, speaking at the forum "Russia Calling!" Said that Russia knows who struck the humanitarian aid convoy near Aleppo. This was reported by RIA Novosti. According to Putin, it was a terrorist group.

"We know who struck this humanitarian convoy. And we know that the Americans are aware of this ", - Putin said.

Vladimir Putin stressed that it is easier for the US to  "deal with sweeping accusations against Russia," but it does not help the cause.

Earlier it was reported that on the night of September the 20th to the north-west of Aleppo a UN humanitarian convoy was shelled.

As a result,18 of 31 trucks were destroyed, killing dozens of civilians, as well as the head of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and eight drivers.

Moscow has repeatedly stated that all strikes occur near  the area were the drone of the coalition has been sited.

The drone is capable to strike at ground targets. The Pentagon claims that the coalition aircraft did not fly over the area.
