Venezuela: new round of talks held

Secretary General of the Union of South American Nations (Unasur), Ernesto Samper, acting as an intermediary between the Government of Venezuelan and the opposition, said that the second series of talks was held successfully.

Ernesto Samper said: «Progress was made on key agreements, the exact contents of which will be revealed».

However, the next phase will start in the nearest future, just in a few hours. That’s why, the main outcomes of talks are not yet know. Besides, among some solutions there is a proposal to hold talks with the current governor and one of the leaders of the opposition.
