Turkish Government dissolved the presidential guard

Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım said that the country's authorities have decided on the dissolution of the presidential guard. "Presidential Guard will no longer be, we have no such purpose or necessity", - the head of the Turkish government said.

Earlier, about 300 soldiers of the presidential guard had been detained in connection with the attempted coup d'etat.

Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said that more than 13 thousand people have been detained in the investigation of the case of the attempted coup.
