Trial of Jakarta Governor Basuki "Ahok" Tjahaja Purnama begins

In Indonesia the trial of Jakarta Governor Basuki "Ahok" Tjahaja Purnama has begun. Radical Muslims have accused him of blasphemy.

Jakarta Governor, who grew up in the Muslim family, said:  “I am so sad about being accused of insulting Islam because it means that I have defamed my own Muslim family whom I really love”.

Many experts agree that the Liberals have traditionally used a radically-minded part of the citizens, in this case - the Sunnis, to achieve their goals. Thus, the accusation of Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama under false pretenses will likely deprive him the opportunity to participate in the next presidential election scheduled on 2019.

In addition to this, the situation remains unstable in Indonesia. Terrorist Islamist groups are now activating.
