Sergei Lavrov urged the United States to warn Kiev against further provocations

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov had a conversation with US Secretary of State John Kerry. Lavrov urged Washington to warn Kiev of provocation and to encourage the Ukrainian authorities to hold dialogue with Donbas. This was reported by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"They also exchanged views on the Ukrainian issue. Lavrov urged the United States to use its influence in Kiev to warn Ukraine against provocations and encourage a dialogue with the Donbas and to implement all the agreements enshrined in the Minsk package of measures in the framework of the "Normandy format".
