SCO holds military exercises

Joint exercises of the SCO countries opened today in Kyrgyzstan. It is reported by the general staff of the armed forces of Kyrgyzstan.

The exercise  involved more than a thousand troops from Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, over 300 pieces of military equipment. The main purpose of the exercise declared the fight against terrorism, extremism and separatism, especially in mountainous terrain.

In addition, the ongoing joint naval exercises between Russia and China, have already been named by the Western media a  provocative step and a show of force.
