Radicals from the "Right Sector", together with bribed activists, staged a provocation during the procession of peace, love, and prayer for Ukraine, reported the press service of the UOC.

The procession was meant to pass the Valky-Chutove road, and after to arrive in Poltava. On the border of the Kharkov and Poltava regions, the faithful were met by violent radicals with 8 cars and several representatives of the "Azov" battalion. Provocateurs, which walked in a parallel column with the pilgrims, shouted insulting slogans and intimidated the believers, arrogantly filming the abuse on camera.

The believers did not answer to the provocation, and on the border areas waited for the arrival of Metropolitan Philip of Poltava and Mirgorod. After arriving in Chutovo, where a local Church held a prayer service and prepared a meal, provocateurs, with impunity, continued to insult the believers with slanderous exclamations. However, after some time they hid their paraphernalia and left.

The procession was very surprised to find that locals who participated in the provocation, after having "fulfilled it",   received a cash reward from the "Right sector". In addition, some of the provocateurs then sat down at a table with believers for supper. Now the believers go to Poltava.
