Putin has suggested not to allow bankers suspected of illegal operations to exit the country

Vladimir Putin proposed not to let abroad the bankers, who are suspected of illegal operations and to withdraw their assets in other countries.

This topic has become one of the main discussions during a working meeting with the Chairman of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina, according to TASS.

Nabiullina agreed with the proposal and the President noted that this case will be much easier to punish unscrupulous financiers.

At the end of the meeting, Vladimir Putin has promised to instruct the Government and the country's law enforcement agencies to address this issue as soon as possible to maximally protect the depositors of Russian banks.

She also noted that the situation in the Russian banking sector is stable, lending recovered.

"The situation in the banking sector, of course, reflects the state of the economy. Not without difficulty all, but the overall situation is stable, and gradually recover lending, the rates is also gradually reduced, but the dynamics are not smooth: one month we are growing indicators, the other month they are slightly reduced, "- said Nabiullina.
