Mobs attacked truck drivers and families in Charlotte, North Carolina before looting Walmart after a black cop shot dead by police.

Officers were serving a warrant against another individual when Keith Lamont Scott exited his vehicle and was shot dead by police, who said he posed an imminent threat. The officer who killed Scott, Brentley Vinson, is an African-American.

Scott exited the vehicle “armed with a firearm and posed an imminent deadly threat to the officers who subsequently fired their weapon striking the subject,” according to a statement from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

‘Black Lives Matter’ supporters insisted that Scott was “disabled” and that he was only carrying a book.

Within hours, a mob a thousand people began staging unrest, blocking Interstate 85 and looting trucks before setting fire to the contents.

One family said that the mob threw rocks at the windshields of cars, shattering the glass.

Members of the media also had bottles thrown at them by the protesters. Vehicles were also smashed.
