Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman Linked Terrorist Attack in Nice With the Events in Donbass
Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said that the attack in Nice is connected to the events in Donbass. He said this during the laying of flowers at the Embassy of France in Kiev, reports channel "112 Ukraine".
"It is a challenge that we all must fight. It's all very connected: the East of Ukraine, Volnovakha, what happened in France, and today's terrorist attack are big tragedies. Our condolences," said Groysman.
Yesterday evening, a truck driver rammed a crowd of people who had gathered on the Promenade des Anglais of Nice to watch the fireworks on the occasion of Bastille Day.
According to witnesses, the truck did not stop, was doing zigzags, and pursued people for nearly two kilometers on the embankment - the attacker also opened fire. He was neutralised by the police. The number of victims of the attack totalled 84 people.
