Primaries in France: Fillon in second round of voting

According to the results of the primaries of the center-right coalition François Fillon has passed in the second round, which will be held in November 27 th. He has got almost 44% of the vote and also Alain Juppe with 27%.

The former French President Nicolas Sarkozy has received only 23% of votes. Admitting his defeat, he urged his followers to support François Fillon in the next round, who served as prime minister during his presidential term.

The winning candidate will pretend to the presidency, together with the leader of the National Front, Marine Le Pen. Officially, the socialists will also participate in the presidential race, but some experts talk about a small voter confidence in them.
