Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif visits Sri Lanka

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrives for a three-day visit in Sri Lanka on Monday, January 4. On the agenda are several Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Pakistani – Sri Lankan relations. 
 
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will be delivering an address on “Pakistan – Sri Lanka Relations” to the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute of International Relations & Strategic Studies (LKIIRS) at the King’s Court at the Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel, Colombo on Tuesday 05th January 2016 at 18:30 hrs.
 
His visit aims at the signing of a number of MoU encompassing an agreement between the Ministry of National Policies and Economic Affairs and Ministry of Youth Affairs in the Republic of Pakistan on cooperation in the youth development field.
 
Other MoUs will emcompass the exchange of statistical and census data between Sri Lanka and Pakistan, cooperation in science, technology and innovation between the Ministry of Science, Technology and Research in Sri Lanka and the Ministry of Science and Technology in Pakistan.
