NATO prepares for largest military exercise

NATO plans to mobilize 90,000 soldiers for drills aimed at “deterring Russian aggression” – in the biggest exercise staged by the alliance since the end of the Cold War.

  • UK bringing 20,000 troops to upcoming exercise with America and other NATO allies 

British Defense Secretary Grant Shapps on Monday announced the U.K.’s contribution to exercise Steadfast Defender, saying it is about sending a message of deterrence at a time of security upheaval on the Continent.
