Malta: a huge explosion nearby the airport

A huge explosion has rocked near Malta International Airport today. According to witnesses, the explosion has occurred at a fireworks factory, which is located nearby the airport.

The explosion is supposed to have started in a container used to store pyrotechnics. Nobody is reported to have been injured; emergency services are on the scene.
