Japanese dissatisfied with TPP

Prime Minister Shinzō Abe has stressed the need to ratify the TPP before the end of the current parliamentary session.

The Minister said: «If ratification procedures are delayed in Japan, it will be very difficult to get U.S. ratification and will result in the pact going adrift».

However, 33 per cent of respondents expressed doubts as to whether the Parliament should ratify this agreement or not, that’s why the rating of Shinzō Abe has begun to fall.

As the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) has a majority in the parliament’s upper and lower chamber, the ratification of the enslaving TPP will be.
