Estonia: parliament votes no-confidence against Rõivas

A majority of 63 lawmakers in the 101-seat parliament voted to dismiss Estonian Prime Minister Taavi Rõivas, whose centrist Reform party has 30 seats.

Now, according to the Constitution of the country, all Estonian government will be disbanded.

Earlier, the MPs from the three parties and two from the opposition, a part of the ruling coalition, proposed to the Prime Minister to resign voluntarily, but he refused.

Taavi Rõivas has been serving as prime minister since 2014. During this time, he showed himself as an inconsistent Atlanticist, often spoke about strengthening anti-Russian sanctions, taking into consideration, however, their harm to the Estonian economy.
