Austria decides fate of Europe
The re-run of presidential elections continues in Austria. There are two candidates on the presidency: Eurosceptic Norbert Hofer and pensioner Alexander Van der Bellen.
Despite the fact that the polls will close at 19.00, the results could be considered only the next day, when the ballots will be processed, which will come by e-mails.
According to some opinion polls, both candidates have a chance to win. However, the second round, being held in May, was successfully challenged by the Eurosceptics. Europeans understand the possibility to juggle with results. In addition, the final round of the elections was postponed because of some unfounded problem. This fact could be considered as an intentional delay, which will contribute to the Liberals or, as Van der Bellen called himself as "neutral", supporters of the status quo: the migration, the economic crises and some challenges of EU identity.
