Attack on Egyptian militaries

There was an act of terrorism aimed at the checkpoint of Egyptian armed forces in one of the most troubled regions of the country, in the north of the Sinai Peninsula. Three soldiers were killed during this attack.

Presumably, a car bomb exploded near the checkpoint.

None of terrorist groups has claimed responsibility. However, in recent years a local cell of ISIS is known to have activated in the region.
