The Arson of the Turkish Cultural Center in Austria

Two men arrested for attempted arson of the Turkish Cultural Center in the city of Wels. The representative of the local police said that a Molotov cocktail was thrown in the window of the building but the fire did not spread throughout the room.

The relations between Turkey and Austria deteriorated after the coup attempt. Austrian Chancellor said that Turkey "can not be a member of the EU, either now or within the next ten years." The Turkish Foreign Ministry has repeatedly send protests, the last one - at the weekend due to the fact that "indecent information about Turkey" was distributed in the running line on the Vienna airport (according to the statement of the Turkish Foreign Ministry).
