The Russian Special Military Operation symbolizes a watershed in history. Before it’s start, there existed an unipolar moment of Western universalism, the uncontested dominance of the trader’s mentality, of matter over spirit. In geopolitical terms, unipolarity was defined by the global dominance of only one civilization, precisely the West with it’s global core in the United States of America, whereas Western allies like the United Kingdom, the European Union, Japan, Australia etc.
From 6 to 9 June 2024, elections for 720 members of the European Parliament (MEPs) were held in the 27 EU Member States. These elections are held every five years.
The latest national drama is the “massacre of the innocents” [young students beaten by police during a public manifestation] in Pisa, denounced by the progressive media that condemned the 'fascist violence' against students, new partisans and martyrs of the resistance. Kids who played truant with the noble motivation of a true genocide and elected heroes by the regime's media. A la page, heirs of the bourgeois revolution of 1968, which inaugurated a new figure of agitator: the scion of the affluent bourgeoisie, a professional revolutionary on permanent duty.
In the wide-ranging and detailed international reflection on geopolitics, there is a tendency to reflect on the major intercontinental systems, concentrating mostly on the two macropowers that the 20th century has consecrated, namely the United States of America and the Russian Federation, taking them as references in an almost univocal manner; when new major powers present themselves, as has been the case since the beginning of our century, there is an attempt to make a comparison with the two majority powers and study the relations and ties that exist with them. This manifests, in my opinion, a kind of formal flaw that is entirely legitimate but at the same time necessary for revision.
