Regional Peace
World now relies with devastating COVID-19 whereas, India tries to extend its hegemonic designs in the region. New Delhi’s border disputes with China, Nepal and Pakistan all indicate its aggressive and expansionist plans due to which regional peace is now at stake. Pakistan’s successive governments drew international community’s attention to tense situation in the region by terming Modi government’s policies similar to Nazi’s, which are threat to neighboring states of India as well. India is now at dispute with Bangladesh also through Citizenship Act, border disputes with Nepal and China and Pakistan threatened with false flag operation.
Likewise, Indo-Pak ties have worsened sharply after the abrogation of Article 35A and 370, which gives Illegal Indian Occupied Kashmir (IIOJK) special status. Since then, Modi government has been trying to bring some unilateral changes in IIOJK and Indian constitution as well to accommodate more and more Hindus in the valley for permanent settlement and for demographic changes. Modi government has also announced some changes in IIOJK’s domicile law, which will pave the way outsiders to purchase land and set up their businesses in the valley. The fascist Modi Govt not only a threat to India’s minorities by relegating them to 2nd class citizens’ status, but also threat to minorities’ rights. International human rights organizations and some major global players such as US, UK and EU have warned India regarding severe human rights violations, which are being done at the behest of Hindu fanatics.
In IIOJK, Indian government has been using its military might to suppress defenseless Kashmiri people. The occupied Indian forces are using illegitimate as well as brutal means to attacks civilians particularly Muslims. However, despite using these brutal and illegitimate means, India has failed to tone down the sentiments of Kashmiri people and their aspirations for independence from dark Indian rule. After being rebuked by brave Kashmiri people, warmongering Modi government is now using anti-Pakistan actors such as BLA and TTP to accomplish its heinous and strategic objectives.
India is going all out to destabilize Pakistan economically, politically and militarily. In this regard, it has been financing non-state actors such as TTP and BLA. With India’s help, TTP has intensified its attacks against Pakistani security forces particularly in Pak-Afghan border areas. Meanwhile, Baluchistan has also seen uptick in BLA’s attacks in border areas. India is behind these attacks with its financial support to insurgents. Pakistan’s government has clearly exposed Indian heinous designs to destabilize the country by presenting evidence of Indian involvement to UN and other major global players.
In recent past, government took up the matter of Indian involvement in destabilizing Pakistan’s economy and security as well with UN and other global players. Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs had prepared a comprehensive dossier on Indian involvement in supporting non-state actors particularly TTP and BLA. Pakistan Army also busted various cells of extremists and apprehended them. Interestingly, Indian currency was recovered from them. Similarly, Pakistan presented the dossier to UN Secretary General, UNSC, envoys of P5+1 countries and some friendly states as well.
In economic domain, India is striving hard to achieve its hegemonic designs in the region by disturbing regional power chess board by expanding its Hindutva driven ideology. Economically, India has been opposing Pakistan’s CPEC and supporting BLA and other insurgent groups in Baluchistan to derail the progress of these projects. India, at every regional/ global forum have opposed CPEC and BRI projects terming it threat to its territorial integrity. These Indian claims are beyond reality and bears no weightage. This is major factor, which is responsible for instability prevailing in the region. India’s Hindutva driven policies have been obstructing the regional as well as bilateral political and economic integrations.
In strategic domain, India has increased arms race by negating the concept of disarmament. Incumbent Indian government led by Hindu fanatics has been investing huge amount to get more sophisticated military equipment in order to threaten its neighbors, which will have severe repercussions for entire region.
Similarly, Indian military buildup way above its genuine defense needs is a source of concern for all its neighbors. By flexing its muscles, raking problems for its neighbors and accusing them of fomenting trouble, India is causing instability in South Asia. It is obvious that the Indian armed forces, riddled with problems of indiscipline and corruption, are looking at ways and means of diverting the attention of the Indian public and probing eyes of investigation agencies from the real problem, making Pakistan a scapegoat. The Indian army has been rocked by series of corruption and discipline cases in recent years, with land, liquor, sex and other scams involving General Officers.
To make matters worse, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raided the home of former Air Chief Marshal S.P. Tyagi as part of an investigation into alleged bribes paid to secure a $748 million contract for 12 Italian helicopters. The arms trade in India has often been mired in controversy with allegations that companies have paid millions of dollars in kickbacks to Indian officials.
In a nutshell, warmongering Indian government can go to any extent to accomplish its targets, be it, political, economic and strategic. Pakistan has gathered irrefutable evidence that India is engaged in a systematic campaign to destabilize the country through terrorist attacks, promotion of secession and subversion in Hybrid and 5th generation war.
