Ode to ideology, renewal of society and rotation of elites
The idea moves worlds
Today, Western experts increasingly examine the pre- and post-war years of the USSR as a special fantasy period in the history of Soviet Slavic-Russian civilisation. Western strategists are interested in the main question: how in just a few years, after the crushing wars and infighting of the early and mid-20th century, the ruling party of the USSR, despite or even thanks to repression, managed to unite the multinational people who won the Great Patriotic War, and then restore the economy to an unprecedented place in the world. The answer is not surprising: everything in the world is governed by ideas; and our society had in those years the most powerful ideology, a beautiful humanistic project, which united society, sparked enthusiasm, elevated people to great deeds; lit a twinkle in the eye, mobilised the will of all.
Only an idea, only a thought, only a concept and an ideal project inspire peoples to feats of war and peace, activate the point of resistance to evil deep in the heart of every person, move peoples to overcome every insurmountable misfortune. It is the idea that is the starting point of the success of the economy, of economic growth, of the building of any country's house (house building, not profit, which has been perfectly understood by wise rulers since the time of Aristotle). The success of the economy and politics of a people (ethnos, nation) is guaranteed by a thought, an idea embodied in the solidarity will of a people sharing the common principles of their civilisation, their cultural norms, political preferences and strategies, moral values. If there is no idea - unifying, inspiring, corresponding to the meaning of the people's historical journey, an idea that is well understood, actualised, expressed, understood and accepted by the community, then there is no creative inspiration, no fire in each of us, no confidence in the capabilities and strength of our people. When the meanings of society are not articulated, or are inarticulate, hidden, not understood by the people, or contradict their hopes, the logic of history, the specifics of their destiny, history gets stuck, society collapses.
If ideas do not soar, they die!
The ancients knew that ideas rule the world and, as Plato said, if ideas do not soar, do not fly through the air like birds, they die. Today, we are witnessing a situation where both parties and public groups in Russia are afraid to express ideas, afraid to talk about ideas that are close to them, that they can inspire, encourage and organise; today, Russian state institutions and their leaders prefer to gloss over the ideological foundations of our state practice and keep the theoretical principles of the country's economy secret, but without clarity on the theoretical and ideological principles of the organisation of society, politics, the economy and education, there will be no improvement in the country's situation. It is necessary to call a spade a spade. By glossing over the theoretical principles of liberalism adopted by Russian society in the 1990s, by hiding the costs of the Western model of democracy that protects the minority instead of the majority, by hiding the consequences of the Western theory of gender that requires a minor child to choose his or her own sex, we will only destroy the foundations of our mental health and we will not solve the situation even by petty business deals and patching holes in the economy. The dominant mood in the country today is that expressed by some socially oriented thinkers-economists who suggest a proportionate mix of private initiative and state planning. Deliberalisation and Gosplan are relevant in the country. "The deliberalisation of the Russian system of government and state system is no less important than the demilitarisation and denazification of Ukraine. At the same time, we can safely say that since it is the liberals who are nazifying Ukraine, the word 'deliberalisation' can be combined with the word 'denazification'," Mikhail Khazin rightly argues.
The turnover of elites is imminent
When will the true carriers of the powerful civilisation idea of our Russian-Eurasian project speak out in the political arena, in open public forums, in discussions on the pages and screens of the mass media? When will the levers of control of ideology, education, and economics be transferred from the casual privatisers of entire industries in the 1990s, who learned, along with other people's property, Western colonial management schemes, to publicly recognised, national-minded theorists and practitioners who have merits in the face of Russian science, with multi-volume studies of the history of civilisations, social philosophy, and economics, with convincing calculations, strategies and tactics, and theoretical calculations aimed at the success of our Motherland? Officials who permanently fail the economic growth of our society, who ruin education, culture, and the financial system, who mutter about ideology and culture, still sit in their chairs at a time when the country needs rapid and intelligent changes in all areas of life. Will these pernicious rules of 'life' be changed, by whom and when?
It is clear that a renewal of elites is needed in the country. A managed, calm, intelligent and non-violent renewal is desirable. The state should kindly invite Russian-Eurasian intellectuals, scientists and thinkers to run the state. Short-term pragmatists and effective managers, startuppers who are uneducated and ignore theory, science, history and culture, have done our country much harm - they lack the intelligence and culture to think about the holistic future of our great Russian (Russian-Eurasian) civilisation. After all, when the burgeoning mind of our thinking class becomes the basis of ideology, i.e. of our civilisation's open and declared worldview (definition of goals, plans, projects, and only then actions), the forces of our people will multiply, everything will converge into a single aspiration, and we will win the battle of civilisation into which the dying and corrupt liberal states of the West have dragged us. The main thing is that, while the change of elites takes place, the state officials in power do not make another sham, a replacement. We are talking about the appointment of worthy, intelligent, highly educated, thinking, ideological, moral, altruistic people, unattached by patrimonial or criminal ties to the previous generation of leaders, sincerely loving the Motherland, ready to give their best for it, and then we will win in the clash of civilisations to which the agonising West, which predatorily targets our land, our spiritual and material wealth, has driven us. If not, we will have a civil war and the catastrophe of losing World War III. Either Russia will be ideological, or it will not exist at all.
