India mourns on Taliban’s Victory

India was the biggest beneficiary of the Afghan war. The Afghan war has increased the neosence value of India and the US started to give importance to India, which led to developing a close relationship between India and the Western World. The US signed series of strategic agreements with India and became a “Major Defense Partner”. The US replaced Pakistan with India in the Afghan role. In return, India was getting American aid, financial assistance, trade concession, political and diplomatic support in addition to access to modern education, technology, and advanced weapons and war machines. India has become the second-largest benificiary of American aid and assistance, just after the Jewish State of Israel.

India was over-engaged in economic activities in Afghanistan and building mega-projects. India was exploiting Afghan minerals and mines and natural resources. India was the beneficiary of trade with Afghanistan. Indian products were exported to Afghanistan while Afghan products were imported at bare minimum value.

India opened 17 Consulates in Afghanistan along Pakistani borders for launching terrorism and sabotage in Pakistan. There are numerous incidents with valid evidence that India was involved in terrorism in Pakistan through Afghanistan. Pakistan has submitted relevant dossiers to the UN for necessary actions already.

President Donald Trump was complaining that Prime minster Modi kept on repeating the same story that he has to build a library in Kabul, whereas, President Trump was demanding him for sending Indian troops to Afghanistan and dissatisfied with building a library in the war-torn country.

India was squeezing all possible economic, political, diplomatic benefits from the Afghan war, but was never sincere to help the US and Allies or Afghan people. India is an opportunist nation and always looking forward to achieving any benefits whatsoever is the situation. While people in Afghanistan were being killed, India was taping benefits.

The Taliban's blisteringly fast takeover of Afghanistan has stunned security and diplomacy experts worldwide. Days after the peaceful takeover of Kabul, many were astonished around the globe. India was not only astonished but started to mourn.

India was involved in fighting against the Taliban and was involved in the killings of the Taliban, and can predict its relations with the Taliban in the future. Although the Taliban has pardoned everyone and granted a general amnesty to everyone. Taliban has guaranteed to protect each individual in Afghanistan and especially the diplomatic missions, the UN structure, and all foreigners and locals without any discrimination. But, India knows its negative role in the Afghan war, has decided to pull its Embassy and diplomats, and all Indian nationals from Afghanistan.

India is siding with the US and to show solidarity with the US, is taking all actions to please the US. India is evacuating all Indians from Afghanistan and taking an active part in projecting a negative image of Taliba. Indian media is over-engaged in spreading fake news and fabricated stories about the Taliban. India is proactive in distorting the Taliban image. India is also an active partner in conspiracies to destabilize Taliban rule.

However, the Taliban's glorious victory will have a deep impact on the regional as well as on the global level. India will face more isolation in geopolitics. India having disputes with all neighbors and after exit from Afghanistan, may suffer severe consequences in the region. India might depend more on America but Americans may not rescue India in the same manner how they failed to rescue Ashraf Ghani Government in Afghanistan.

India is right in mourning on Taliban’s glorious victory as India can fore see the beginning of a dark era ahead.
