Aleksandr Dugin and Gnostic Politics

Dugin as a Gnostic is a metaphysical dualist, and understands the final struggle, as the culmination of a series of minor skirmishes, to be exclusively binary, literally Manichaean. At this point, the end of worldly time thus becomes the beginning of sacred time. Likewise, the space of conflict also becomes sacralised, that is, oriented towards sacrifice and death. The angels of the end are embodied in the powers of the Sea and the Earth, thalassocracy against telurocracy, Leviathan against Behemoth... In other
words, it is a question of mobile cultures against axial cultures, the latter ones amalgamated into de Eurasian mass, the so-called Heartland.
