The US Joint Chiefs of Defense conference

18.10.2016

A conference of the US military leadership of the satellite countries is hosted on the US Air Force base near Washington. Conference meets the US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Joseph Dunford.

Details

The conference is attended by the US defense leaders from 43 countries. This kind of meeting takes place for the first time in US history. The main topics declared for discussion - extremism and terrorism. However, in the light of recent events, we can conclude that there will be discussed the means of counteracting strengthening of Russia and regional centers of power - China, Iran, India, Venezuela and others, seeking to sovereignty and new multipolar world.

Prior they held similar regional meetings and conferences, in which the US chiefs of staff met with their "wards" - Defence ministers of the satellite countries.

Probably, it was made for a more accurate understanding of their opportunities in a given region. We can assume that after the conference, the chiefs of staff will hold again some explanatory conversations in their areas of responsibility countries.

Terror Factor

Opening the conference, General Dunford said bluntly that "we are creating the foundation for a future US military efforts" and financial efforts are among them.In addition, he stressed that to achieve the goal they can not act alone, but only as a part of the network, which is intended to develop.

Many researchers say that terrorism emerges in places where there are US military bases are located, and this fact can not be regarded as an accident. Funding and supporting terrorism in countries with undesirable government is one of way to destabilize the situation.

Just recently there have been several seemingly unrelated events: the attempted of  major terrorist attack in Venezuela, made by the oppositioner, who was trained in the USA; The Mosul's assault, during which the terrorists, with help of the United States, will be transfered to Syria through humanitarian corridor; the introduction of a humanitarian pause in Aleppo, where the militants will have time for a break; the escalation of the conflict between India and Pakistan over Kashmir terrorists; anti-Chinese act of terrorism in the embassy of Kyrgyzstan, designed to worsen the relations between China and Central Asia; and, again, the appointment of immigrant from the former Soviet Union as the ISIS commander. All these events have  two factors in common - Washington and terrorism.

Some conclusions can be drawn, if we sum up the threats of an undeclared war against Russia, the State Department spokesman words that Washington would take action against Russia, but it will be something unsaid, and it will be impossible to say, "Is this something has begun, continued or it is over ".

Main directions

According to the reports of the Joint Chiefs, the main directions of Washington are now the Middle East and the Pacific. Russia stands on both of directions. If the Middle East is traditionally restrained by Iran, which has become a real political center despite all sanctions, in the Pacific region the balance of power is changing rapidly and not in favor of the White House. Many former allies of Washington have started declaring their own sovereignty, and even Japan, which was called the cornerstone of the region, increasingly seeks closer ties with Russia, and not only for the sake of solving the territorial issue.
