Summits of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) and the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC) to be held in Saint-Petersburg

Two events will be held in integrated mode. The leaders of Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are going to participate in these summits.

Eurasian integration

During the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, the leaders are going to summarize the first two years of the union and outline benchmarks for further development of this integration association.

The signing of the Treaty on the Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Community is planned. In addition, other numerous documents will be taken to promote the process of forming a common Eurasian market for goods and services.

The scope of International Union's activities will also be approved for 2017.

Security Considerations

During the meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), heads of state and members of the organization, are going to discuss the current activities and the most pressing issues.

The key issues at the global and regional level are planned to be discussed, including the theme to counter terrorist and extremist threats, the fight against drug trafficking and black market weapons trading.
