Suicidal tolerance: Liberals label Christmas as “offensive”

Churches that use Gregorian and revised Julian calendars celebrate Christmas. The birth of the Son of God - Jesus Christ – is a cornerstone episode in the history of all humanity. Nowadays the great Christian Holiday is under attack in many countries, mainly in the Western world.

To saw off the branch on which the West is sitting

Western culture (both European and American) was conceived by Traditional Christianity. Now these societies are facing a serious crisis because of abandonment of traditional values. One of methods in this is abolishing holidays and related traditions. A lot of the time, the media promotes the idea that even the phrase “Merry Christmas” can be strongly offensive towards non-Christians and non-believers. Western societies are offered to use more politically correct “Happy Holidays” and “Season’s Greetings” that don’t have any religious implication.

Political correctness attacks only Christian Holidays

An interesting observation can be made during monitoring of Western media space. Only Christian Holidays face strong attacks from Liberals of all kinds. Opposing Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu or any other sort of religious Holidays is unacceptable in Western society – it can and will be seen as “bigotry” and “racism”. But banning even the name of Christian Holidays is strongly recommended in order to promote diversity and equality in these mainly post-Christian societies.

The epidemic is growing

Modern political christianophobia has its roots in the United States, but now is widespread in Europe, even in Catholic countries. For example, the head of an Italian school banned the collective rendition of Christmas carols because it could be interpreted by the Muslim community as a "perilous provocation”. The headmaster’s move triggered an outraged response, mainly from conservative parties, but such episodes are happening more and more often in different countries across the continent
